abandoned 02:05
in a quiet temple abandoned due to fate the rocks closed in the universe began drawing away from him this temple a tribute to dead, incarcarated gods out of chaos, began to dream a dialogue space was time and he looked far into the past the future, straight into the sun its bright light burnt his eyes eternity is the standing still of time bound in a nutshell we still count ourselves the kings of infinite space we live through the tragic erosion of years lying in someone's perfect memory the universe was never mine to live in tiamat would not breath life into his prey in praise of darkness watching us fall

in this life that we make up are you let down do you give up are you let down by me and this life that we've made this fake life that someone made up in their heads and gave to us we all try to climb up but they throw rocks at our flesh we all think the same shit we all dream the nightmare this fake world on a movie screen and we watch as our lives break up but one day if we stand up with a fake smile we could wake up the real world is just too much to take in for all of us

about

a kind of ridiculous look at how rock and no-rock fit together. the goal was to combine a love of echoey guitars and effects-laden loops with a few jaunty acoustic tunes about cramming my giant legs into the smallest airline seat ever. all in all, it's just as incoherent and messy as i had hoped.

the cover might be my favorite yet–i used a blank CD insert, an old scanner, an extra messy marker, and two of my favorite images of J.L. Borges.
