about

a re-imagining of the classic Ennio Morricone soundtrack to Sergio Leone's Fistful of Dollars.

The album is very close to exactly one third the length of Leone's film.
So if you're interested, play this album on repeat while watching the film.
It is in no way intended to replace Ennio Morricone's epic score.

I know what you're thinking: "wait a minute, you made a new soundtrack for a movie that is known the world over for its soundtrack? and you think you're better than Ennio Morricone?!"

not better. just different.

did you hear about how philip k. dick wrote "the man in the high castle" in three days while high on amphetamines--all the while using the I Ching as a guide for the plot?

i was on a new drug and this is what happened to me the day i recorded this.
except i didn't have the I Ching, just Fistful of Dollars.
